It has been nearly a week since I’ve had a cup of good coffee!
When Adam suggested a coffee crawl on this gorgeous Saturday afternoon, I was in! A perfect opportunity to check out a new spot; Brew/Well in Korea Town ( formerly DripLA ), recommended to us by our friend Erik over at Handsome Coffee Roasters.

Meet Grace & Elizabeth. After a recent name-change – they’re excited to introduce Korea Town and Coffee Crawling Angelinos such as ourselves to a variety of roasters & that’s an idea we can get behind!

I was bummed when I learned they were out of Handsome Coffee, but my excitement returned when Grace pulled out a slew of coffees from a few amazing roasters. Some I haven’t tried yet. Seeing the new Coava packaging made my day.

A super cool aspect of this shop. The Classic Menu, featuring a traditional lineup of espresso, coffee & tea. The Creative Menu, throws a signature twist on the classics.

After my latte at Cognoscenti and macchiato at Single Origin, I decided to skip the classic menu and try the Toasted Lavender Capp off the Creative menu.

A slice of amazing chocolate cake with Guiness gel. What a perfectly sweet end to our coffee crawl!

If you’re looking for coffee in Korea Town, Brew/Well’s creative & relaxed vibe is A+. I can’t wait to try all the different drinks on the Creative Menu – the “Sparkling Lavonade” made with freshly squeezed lemons and lavender syrup sounds like a great way to quench my thirst on a hot summer day in Los Angeles!

PS – No Coffee Crawl would be complete without a little booze – so Adam & I decided to finally stop into DomaineLA ( who we met via Instagram & a shared love for #OITNB ) and pick up a bottle of wine – Their motto is “More Wine, Less Attitude” – and they aren’t kidding. I was practically in Rosé heaven when Kathryn led me toward the area with over 40 different options for me to choose from. I walked away with this bottle of La Closerie Des Lys is an excellent summer wine which was less than ten buck$!
